Melissa has 10 years of experience treating numerous chronic conditions, as well as sports and stress related injuries; she has also developed a keen interest in pregnancy and infant massage. In addition, Melissa has a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food from Ryerson University, and she is currently integrating her knowledge of nutrition and its roll in prevention into her practice.
Melissa's zeal for health extends beyond her work. Her dedication to yoga motivated her recent travels to India, where she practiced at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute under the guidance of Saraswathi. Through yoga and her interest with natural treatments, Melissa has learned that health lies not only in physical fitness, but also in the deep connections between mind, body and spirit.
Excited to be part of the SNU Therapy team, Melissa aims to help others achieve their personal goals by sharing her enthusiasm for all that embodies holistic health.
